CATHETERISATION LABORATORY AND CLINICAL SCHOOL

Following the need to expand the cardiology services within North Wales, a new Catheterisation Laboratory has been designed for the Trust, and was completed in 2006. The facilities are situated within the ground floor of a new two-storey development.
Externally, the modern façades of the new building reflect the sophisticated medical activities taking place within the main laboratory whilst, internally, bold use of colour and curved walls enhance the patient experience and sense of well-being.
The first floor of the new building provides additional teaching accommodation for the North Wales Clinical School, to cater for increased numbers of student nurses and doctors entering the profession.
