Dormouse survey in accordance with DMRB Volume 10 1997) to ascertain the presence of dormice within a 250m zone either side of a proposed road improvement in North Wales. Suitable habitat was identified and a hazel nut search and survey was undertaken. Further nest tube surveys were also carried out and dormice were found foraging within hedgerow sections within the study area. “Ghost” licences were also prepared and submitted to CCW.
