Otter survey: Usk River Bank

Baseline survey of otter habitat along the east bank of the River Usk at Newport. Resultant information and data was utilised to underpin two environmental statements with respect to the proposed pedestrian and cyclebridge over the River Usk at Newport, (client Atkins/McAlpine Capital Projects,) and the proposed Rodney Parade, Newport Flood Defence structure and walkway (client WDA). The commission involved mapping of suitable otter habitat and noting evidence of otters along the river bank.
