Church Village Bypass

TACP was commissioned to co-ordinate an environmental assessment and prepare an environmental statement to support a planning application for the Church Village Bypass. The bypass is proposed to relieve traffic congestion in the settlement of Church Village, Ton-teg, Llantwit Fadre and Efail Isaf north of Cardiff.
The EIA addressed bypass impacts on air quality, cultural heritage, disruption due to construction, ecology and nature conservation, landscape effects, land use, traffic noise and vibration, travellers, water quality and drainage, geology and soils and policies and plans. Extensive baseline ecological survey work was undertaken together with liaison with the Countryside Council for Wales.
