Client: Welsh Assembly Government / Parsons Brinckerhoff

A Stage 2 Assessment Study for a programme of highway improvement schemes for the A40 West of St Clears Carmarthenshire.  A large range of single and dual carriageway options were identified within the A40 strategic corridor, each option proposed was assessed in terms of environmental impact on identified receptors.  TACP’s environmental team were responsible for environmental co-ordinating, undertaking baseline survey work and appraising each option using STAG guidance.  Extensive consultation was undertaken with the environmental liaison group set up for the project.
