A487 road improvement north of Aberystwyth and south of Machynlleth at Glandyfi alongside the Afon Dyfi Estuary. The route corridor lies within the Ceredigion Coast Special Landscape Area and is adjacent the southern boundary of Snowdonia National Park. The landscape is of high scenic nature and borders the picturesque Afon Dyfi Estuary. An environmental impact assessment was produced in the form of a environmental statement. Assessment included the potential impacts and effects of the proposed scheme on a range of environmental receptors.
