Following a competition route TACP was successful in being appointed as team leaders for a multi-million pound SportsLot submission for a new Sports Centre on the campus of the University of Wales sector College.
The facilities include:
- A six-court sports hall
- Full size ATP (Artificial Turf Pitch)
- Changing facilities for indoor and outdoor activities
- Multi-purpose room
- Social areas
The new sports centre for the North East Wales University is an exciting amalgamation of Architecture, Engineering and Interiors. The demand for a large internal volume of space gave the opportunity to express the structural elements, and produce a series of stimulating spaces. Attention to detail was paramount, ensuring that the careful choice of colour, materials and products combined to create the desired ambience.
